My thanks to Reddit! I'm highly allergic to cats, and couldn't bring myself to get another dog. I recently had to put down my old dog. Read about the Russian Blue breed being hypoallergenic. Adopted a Nebelung. Meet Marshmellow! (I don't even need allergy meds)
